Jakarta to Expand Port Capacity to Tackle Vessel Congestion

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung is moving to resolve the vessel congestion at North Jakarta's Muara Angke Port. 

He asserted, the Jakarta government will fast-track the expansion of the mooring basin at the fishing facility to better accommodate docked vessels.

He explained that the port expansion project is projected to accommodate an additional 500 to 600 vessels and is slated to get underway shortly.
