North Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department succeed to transport about 30 tons of trash from Sentiong River.

Head of North Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Bondan Diah Ekowati acknowledged that 600 joint personnel of Satpol PP, Infrastructure and Public Facility Handling (PPSU), Army/Police, LMK and residents cleaned the Sentiong River that passing Sunter Jaya, Sunter Agung, Papanggo and Pademangan Timur Urban Villages.

“ Cleaning is done to keep the river clean and make it flow smoothly ,” she expressed (9/28).

She assessed thus far, resident's awareness about cleaning is still low. “By doing this, we hope our effort could spur them to more care for cleanliness,” she hoped.
