As much as 17,343 South Jakarta residents fail to receive E-ID Card (E-KTP). It was because until Thursday (8/27) yesterday, the online network connects Jakarta Population and Civil Registration (Dukcapil) Department with Home Ministry is remain malfunction.

Head of South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-Department Sapto Wibowo, acknowledged the connection interrupted since last Tuesday (8/25). “The error went two days lately, I have no idea about its cause,” he said.
Nevertheless, residents remain able to record data for E-ID card making. “Our officer will assist you to record your data as it use offline network, so we still can process it,” he uttered.
Head of Technological Management of Population Administration for Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Department, M Nurrahman confirmed error connection occurred since two days lately.
“Home Ministry told it had fixed since yesterday,” he disclosed.
