Water channel on Jalan TPU Munjul, Gang Asem RT 05/02 Munjul Urban Village is being revitalized by Cipayung District Water Resources Unit, East Jakarta.

Head of Cipayung District Water Resources Unit, Dian Kartika said revitalization of an 85-meter water channel using 40x40 centimeter U-ditch concrete.

"The revitalization is run manually by seven personnel," he said, Thursday (1/15 ).

He added that the work is run to respond to residents' requests since the existing channel is not able to flow the water well.

"Now the progress reaches 20 percent and is targeted for completion on February 16," he added.

Joko (37), one of local residents, appreciated the water channel revitalization. He hopes the revitalization can be completed on time.

"The initial channel used small pipes, as long as there was water flowing. Thanks for realizing our request," he stated.
