received an enthusiastic response
The bazaar provided various basic necessities such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, flour, eggs, and various MSME products at affordable prices.
Head of Jakarta PPKUKM Agency, Elisabeth Ratu Rante Allo said this activity is a continuation of the series of Cheap Bazaars that have taken place for the previous two days in the Central Jakarta and North Jakarta areas.
"Jakarta Provincial Government is committed to provide similar activity in other areas since the implementation in both areas received an enthusiastic response," she said, Thursday (12/4).
She added that the Cheap Bazaar is held to ensure that people can access basic necessities at more affordable prices.
The agency hopes the activity is able to ease the burden on residents' shopping while maintaining the rhythm of the community's economic movement, both in terms of consumption and empowering MSMEs.
"We also want to ensure that MSMEs remain active and have room to grow. We hope this initiative will provide tangible benefits and help maintain economic stability at the household level," she hoped.
