A total of 2,000 rainbow troop personnel in North Jakarta received staple food packages from Mawar Sharon Foundation through GMS Peduli program on Thursday (12/4).

"This positive energy strengthens solidarity and togetherness in North Jakarta,"

The aid was handed over at the West Plaza of the North Jakarta Mayor's Office, attended by Acting Deputy Mayor Fredy Setiawan and Mawar Sharon Foundation Patron, Elianto Wijaya.

According to Fredy, this aid is a form of appreciation to the workers who daily maintain the cleanliness and comfort of the city.

"This positive energy strengthens solidarity and togetherness in North Jakarta. Thanks to Mawar Sharon Peduli for initiating this activity," he expressed.

Fredy assessed that the rainbow troops' hard work in maintaining and caring for the city deserves recognition.

"Clean sidewalks, well-maintained parks, smooth drainage - all are the results of their hard work. Although often unnoticed, their impact is felt by all residents," he mentioned.

He noted that the city development cannot run alone and needs collaboration from all elements.

"Hopefully, activities like this will inspire all stakeholders in North Jakarta," he added.

MSP Foundation Patron, Elianto Wijaya, explained that GMS Peduli is committed to making this program an annual event.

"We realize this aid cannot fully match their effort and hard work, but we hope it can help and ease their daily needs," he conveyed.

One PPSU worker from Tugu Selatan Urban Village, Robbi (38), said he did not expect to receive such attention and aid.

"I'm very happy to get this package, even though I don't know what's inside yet. But it feels like my effort and work are appreciated," he expressed.

Similarly, Budi (45), a member of the Green Troops from the North Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, expressed pride in the attention given.

"Alhamdulillah, this is very helpful and meaningful. I’m grateful for this aid. I hope programs like this continue because they are greatly needed by friends in the field," he said.
