PT Transjakarta issued a second warning letter (SP2) to two employees found guilty of sexually harassing three other employees. This action demonstrates the company's firm stance against all forms of violence and sexual harassment in the workplace.
Management has given disciplinary sanctions
Head of PT Transjakarta Public Relation and CSR, Ayu Wardhani said her side does not tolerate acts of sexual violence in any form.
According to her, the company consistently carries out various prevention campaigns, both internally and externally.
"Management has given disciplinary sanctions to employees who are suspected of being involved in the sexual harassment case," she said, Wednesday (11/12).
She added that if new evidence emerges or if any party is dissatisfied with the decision, management is ready to carry out a review process.
"The company will always side with the victim if this case is brought to the legal realm," she stated.
The Head of PUK SPDT FSPMI of PT Transjakarta, Indra Kurniawan, revealed that the forms of harassment experienced by the victim included verbal and nonverbal actions.
"Hopefully punishment that truly has a deterrent effect will be given," he hoped.
