Legislative appreciated Jakarta Provincial Government's Satu Data Jakarta portal launching, Tuesday (11/11).

demonstrates the government's seriousness

Jakarta City Council's Commission A Secretary, Mujiyono assessed that this policy is an important step towards modern governance based on data and real evidence.

"The launching of Satu Data Jakarta demonstrates the government's seriousness in building a system that no longer relies on estimates but is based on real, testable data. In modern governance, data is the foundation of decisions, not a supplement to reports," he said.

According to him, the executive and legislative have frequently faced data discrepancies. For example, recipients of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) registered with the Education Agency may not be registered as poor by the Social Services Agency. As a result, some students from vulnerable families remain unaccounted for.

"With the Satu Data Jakarta, this problem can be solved. Educational assistance will be directly based on the socio-economic profile of residents verified across agencies," he added.

Mujiyono also revealed duplicate or outdated data in the elderly assistance and worker subsidy programs. For example, deceased elderly residents are still registered as recipients, while newly vulnerable elderly residents are not yet included in the list.

"Similarly, informal workers such as online motorcycle taxi drivers, freelancers, and small traders are often overlooked because their data is scattered across various agencies. Data integration will ensure that social assistance and subsidies actually reach those who deserve them," he continued.

With single data, transportation subsidy programs such as JakLingko and the Jakarta Worker Card will also be more targeted.

"The Jakarta Provincial Government can accurately calculate which low-income residents truly depend on public transportation every day. This means that the subsidy policy is no longer evenly distributed, but rather directed at the groups most in need," he explained.

With data integration, Mujiyono stated, the government can map the needs of schools, teachers, and educational infrastructure more fairly and precisely.

Mujiyono emphasized that his side will oversee the implementation of Satu Data Jakarta, so that it does not stop at the launch stage alone.

"We want to ensure that this system is truly live, its data is continuously updated, publicly accessible, and forms the basis for every decision, from education, social assistance, to village planning," he stated.
