Jakarta Council (DPRD)'s Regional Regulation Formation Board (Bapemperda) Chairman, Abdul Aziz, stated that special committees have completed the discussion of four draft bylaws (raperda).
"Pansus leaders have submitted the final results of discussions on the four draft bylaws,"
According to him, Bapemperda is ready to carry out further evaluations before those draft bylaws are harmonized with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
"Pansus leaders have submitted the final results of discussions on the four draft bylaws we proposed. Alhamdulillah, all have been completed," he said on Tuesday (11/11).
Aziz explained that the draft bylaw on Education Implementation was the first to be discussed and has already undergone evaluation by Bapemperda.
Meanwhile, other drafts on Utilities, Smoke-Free Zones (KTR), and Regional Assets (BMD) are scheduled for evaluation in the near future.
"All three have been completed, and we are now waiting for an official letter from the council leadership assigning the government to carry out the final evaluation of the drafts," he informed.
Aziz is optimistic that the entire evaluation process can be completed before the final submission deadline on November 30, 2025.
"We're confident because all drafts have been thoroughly discussed at the committee level. Bapemperda's task is just to evaluate and do some final alignment or finishing touches," he expressed.
In addition to the four drafts, Aziz mentioned that one more draft bylaw is targeted for completion by the end of the year, which concerns the change in legal status of PAM Jaya from a Regional Public Company (Perumda) to a Regional Limited Company (Perseroda).
"We hope for your support and prayers so that all deliberations can be completed on time and meet public expectations," he concluded.
