As many as 76 prone to broken and fallen trees in 10 districts of East Jakarta were pruned on November 8-11, 2025.

Head of East Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Dwi Ponangsera said the pruning is important since heavy rain accompanied with strong wind often occurred recently.

"We deployed 40 personnel to prune those trees," he said, Monday (11/10).

Meanwhile, Head Section of Green Lane and Cemetery of the Sub-agency, Made Widhi Adnyana Surya Pratita, stated the most pruned trees were in Makasar and Cipayung Districts.

"We also deployed two ladder units to accelerate the work. Hopefully this effort will prevent or minimize broken and fallen tree incidents," he hoped.
