As many as 150 joint personnel, Tuesday (10/7), held a community work cleaning Krukut River passing areas of Kebon Melati and Kebon Kacang Urban Villages, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta.

Head of Tanah Abang District, Suprayogi said the joint personnel came from PPSU personnel of Kebon Melati and Kebon Kosong Urban Villages, Environmental and Water Resources Sub-agencies, as well as Water Body.
According to him, the community work was held one day to clean trash on the river.
"The transported trash was dominated by households from settlements along the banks of the Krukut River," he said.
His side also involved administrators of RT, RW, FKDM and LMK of Kebon Melati and Kebon Kosong Urban Villages.
"We also conducted socialization to residents along the riverbanks to not throw rubbish into the Krukut River," he admitted.
