East Jakarta Administration held a Socialization of Marine, Agricultural, and Food Security Monitoring and Evaluation at Ciracas District Office. The activity opened by Head of Ciracas District, Mujiono, was attended by 80 participants.

He said that this socialization program is highly beneficial for improving the skills of the community, particularly Public Infrastructure and Facilities Management (PPSU) officers, PKK cadres, and RPTRA managers. They are involved in daily urban farming activities.

"This activity is very good for encouraging food security and urban farming programs to become more advanced, professional, and beneficial for the community," he said, Tuesday (10/7).

Head Section of East Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency's Food Security and Agriculture, Hendra Junianto stated the socialization is held only a day.

"The material provided was related to agricultural and fisheries cultivation on narrow land," he stated.

He hopes the participants can become pioneers or the backbone of urban farming development in Ciracas District. Moreover, most of them are already active in these activities.

Meanwhile, PPSU personnel of Cibubur Urban Village, Riyanto (35) admitted happy to attend the socialization. He gained knowledge to be applied in daily urban farming.

"The knowledge provided is very useful to apply because I manage urban farming in the yard of the sub-district office every day," he admitted.
