Residents appreciate the new water channel construction in Gang Sabar, RW 04, Jagakarsa Sub-district, South Jakarta.

One of the residents, Ahmad Rizal, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the construction of the new channel to address flooding.

"This is an effective step in dealing with floods," he expressed, Monday (10/6).

South Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency (SDA)'s Development Section Head, Horas Yosua stated, there are two channel sizes with a length of 480 meters built since July 2024. They are 370 meters using U-ditch 40 HD and 110 meters with U-ditch 60 HD.

"Hope the construction can be completed soon. And the locals will take care of this channel by not littering randomly," he hoped.
