Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency handled 221 fallen and broken trees spread in eight districts.

Head of Central Jakarta City Park and Forestry Sub-agency, Mia Ananda said those handled trees were 138 broken and 83 fallen trees.

"Those broken and fallen trees were caused by strong wind and heavy rain, " she said, Thursday (9/25).

In details, there were 45 broken and fallen trees in January 2025, 25 trees in February, 41 trees in March, 14 trees in April and 23 trees in May.

Next were 21 trees in June, 21 trees in July and nine trees during September 1-24.

"We also pruned and cut the prone to fall trees as an anticipation effort," she admitted.
