Arifin emphasized that the diversity of religions, cultures, ethnicities, races and ancestry, even multicultural perspectives, is a national wealth and a gift from God for which we should be grateful.
"Let's respect and accept differences together, improve intercultural education, prioritize dialogue, work together for the welfare of the people, and use social media wisely," he said, Wednesday (9/24).
He added that Central Jakarta, as the capital city with its multicultural and religious citizens, amidst the glittering skyscrapers, stands mosques, churches, temples and other places of worship from various faiths standing side by side.
"This reflects the spirit of tolerance and unity," he stated.
