As many as 100 toddlers enlivened the 'Enjoy Eating Fish' campaign held by Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime, and Agriculture (KPKP) Sub-agency at Mangga Dua Selatan Sport Hall, Tuesday (9/23).

Head of Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency, Penty Yunesi Pudyastuti explained the campaign was held simultaneously in 10 urban villages by targeting 2,000 toddlers.

"The campaign aims to reduce stunting case in Central Jakarta," she said.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Assistant of Economy and Development, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting admitted the consumption rate of fish-based foods in Jakarta has only reached 48 percent per capita annually.

In fact, according to Bakwan, the ideal figure should be at least 62 percent per capita per year. This means that currently, school-age children in Jakarta are still not consuming enough fish.

"I invite residents who have children to process fish into processed products such as meatballs, so that children will increasingly enjoy consuming fish," he invited.
