A new water channel is being built on Jalan Cenghay, RT 08/07, Rawa Bunga Urban Village, which aims to minimize flooding when it rains.

"This work has been underway since September 1, 2025, involving five workers," expressed Jatinegara Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executiny Unit Head, Robi Triawan, Tuesday (9/9).

According to him, the channel is made using a U-ditch measuring 40 centimeters in width and 70 meters in length, with the remaining 72 meters constructed using bricks.

"The work progress has touched 10 percent and is targeted for completion in 60 days," he explained.

Of course, the work received appreciation from one of the locals, Sulaeman (47).

"Hopefully, there will be no more floods," he hoped.
