The South Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD) in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) South Jakarta held a blood donation activity on Thursday (9/4).
Hopefully this can help meet the blood stock needs in Jakarta
This social activity attended by employees, instructors, and training participants took place at the PPKD Building in South Jakarta, Jalan H Samali, Pejaten Barat, Pasar Minggu.
South Jakarta PPKD Head, Budi Karlia Setiyanto said, today's blood donation activity aimed to collect at least 100 blood bags.
"Hopefully this can help meet the blood stock needs in Jakarta, which have been decreasing lately," he hoped.
Besides helping ensure the availability of blood, blood donation also aimed to raise participants' awareness of the importance of humanitarian actions.
He conveyed that donating blood is a tangible act of caring and can provide immediate benefits to the health of many people.
"Besides helping others, blood donation is also beneficial for maintaining the health of donors' bodies, such as improving blood circulation and stimulating the formation of new blood cells," he explained.
He hoped that the spirit of sharing could continue to grow among employees and job training participants at South Jakarta PPKD through this activity.
"We want this blood donation to help more people and also provide health benefits for the donors," he closed.
