North Jakarta Government invited disabled students of Rumah Qur'an Disabilitas (RQD) to go to Ocean Dream Samudera, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol.
They were very enthusiastic and happy
North Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Juani Yusuf released the 150 participants consisting of students and their companions at the Yos Sudarso Hall, local Mayor's Office.
"It becomes our duty to facilitate them. They have been studying every day, so we invited them to go on holiday to Ancol," he said, Wednesday (8/27).
Juaini expressed his gratitude and appreciation to PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol for providing support and valuable opportunities for RQD students to experience tourism and meaningful learning.
"We want this program to become a regular activity, such as to museums of other historical sites," he added.
Head Committee of North Jakarta Rumah Qur'an Disabilitas, Anita Yulianti, thanked and appreciated the North Jakarta Government for facilitating and providing opportunities for the students.
"They were very enthusiastic and happy. Thanks to all stakeholders who have supported our activities. We hope this visit will continue and become a regular event," she admitted.
Meanwhile, Affan (12), a student at RQD with Down syndrome, said he was happy to be invited to the Ancol trip.
"I'm so happy. I got to meet the dolphins. I want to have fun there," he said.
