Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung said that Jakarta residents do not need to worry about the increase in Land and Building Tax (PBB) in Jakarta, which is quite small, around 5-10 percent.
Transparency is very important to me
"Actually, I even decreased the numbers yesterday, so I haven't received a report of more than 5-10 percent for Jakarta. It's very small," he expressed, under the Slipi Toll Road, Central Jakarta, Friday (8/15).
He emphasized that transparency is an important factor in the determination of PBB in Jakarta, thus the process can run smoothly and the community pays orderly.
"Transparency is very important to me, so for Jakarta, the issue of PBB is relatively well managed," he explained.
He also explained the policy of tax exemption for residents who own houses with a NJOP below Rp 2 billion. This policy also applies to residents who own apartments with a NJOP below Rp 650 million.
"Applicable to those with a NJOP below Rp 2 billion, the PBB is 0 percent. For residents using an apartment priced below Rp 650 million, it is also 0 percent," he stated.
