Jakarta City Council Commission E Member, Farah Savira supports the Free Health Check Program at Schools (CKG Sekolah) in Jakarta.

We strongly promote this program

"We strongly promote this program because it is positive and beneficial. Thus, students can understand their health condition and also take disease prevention measures," she expressed, Tuesday (8/12).

According to her, this service provides equitable access to healthcare so that it is not limited to certain groups.

"Medical check-ups at hospitals are usually enjoyed by only a few people, but this program actually makes public healthcare services accessible to everyone," she added.

Another Commission E Member, Yudha Permana assessed, this program can also be an important source of health data for the government.

"With this program, we have a strong database. In the future, if there are children with poor health, they can be directly handled by the Health Agency (Dinkes)," he explained.

As information, Jakarta Dinkes aims for 1,997,082 children to participate in the CKG program, covering elementary to high school students aged 7–17. This step is part of efforts to maintain the health of the next generation in the capital.
