The normalization progress of the water channel on Jalan Taman Sari, RT 02/03, Lebak Bulus Urban Village, Cilandak Sub-district, South Jakarta has reached 80 percent.

"We upgrade the water channel from its original small size to a U-ditch measuring 40 HD," expressed Cilandak Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Yansori, Monday (8/11).

He explained, the work involved seven personnel and one excavator. "It has been underway since July 2025 and is targeted to be completed next week," he explained.

He hoped that the channel could accommodate water in large quantities in the rainy season.

"Also minimize flooding," he hoped.

The work received appreciation from a local resident, Andi Maulana.

"The work is quick, especially since it uses a U-ditch that makes the channel stronger," he stated.
