Jakarta Transportation Agency's Terminal Management Unit is running the repair and revitalization of Cililitan Terminal, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. Now the progress has reached 55 percent.

Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency's Terminal Management Unit, Syamsul Mirwan said these works include casting the in and out of access roads which are integrated with the shopping center area.
"This access extends not only to Mikrotrans but also to the Transjakarta bus corridor. Furthermore, drainage and pedestrian and passenger lane improvements have been made, including the installation of guidance blocks for people with disabilities," he said, Friday (8/1).
Syamsul explained that other works include installing and painting curbs, repairing safety fences and concrete blocks, reforesting the park, expanding the passenger waiting area, creating a lactation and child-friendly area, and constructing a toilet for the disabled.
"The budget for these repairs and improvements is approximately Rp 3 billion. Work began on June 11 and is targeted for completion on August 9," he explained.
Meanwhile, Cililitan Terminal Head, Nur Prasetyo said many of the existing roads were broken.
"We are committed to providing comfort and safety for public transportation users," he said.
He appealed public transportation users to use the facilities well.
"Let's work together to maintain order and care for the facilities here," he stated.
