fulfill the aspects of good corporate governance
This agreement was made after the North Jakarta City Administration Government and PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) held a socialization of residential rental contracts, contract signing and handover of the keys to the JIS HPPO, at North Jakarta Mayor Office, Tuesday (7/29).
Director of Business and Operations at PT Jakarta Propertindo (Perseroda) (Jakpro), I Gede Adnyana T, explained that today's activity demonstrates Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung's concern and affection for the residents of the former Kampung Bayam. He acknowledged that the process has indeed taken longer than the initial estimate of May 2025.
"Because we want everyone to fulfill the aspects of good corporate governance (GCG)," Adi said.
Adi emphasized that after the GCG aspect review phase is complete, his side can provide seven guarantees to residents. First, they can move into the JIS HPPO starting today after signing the contract and going through a unit drawing process.
Second, his side will accept former Kampung Bayam residents living in the JIS HPPO who wish to work as JIS employees, as long as they comply with applicable regulations and job market needs. Adi cited examples of potential jobs available, including gardening and cleaning services.
Third, the next six months, until December 31st, will be designated as a grass period. During this period, they can live at the JIS HPPO without being charged any fees.
Fourth, as long as they stay in the grass period, this period is guaranteed not to be a debt. Then fifth, Adi emphasized that his party would make this joint commitment better.
Sixth, Adi said that the results that can be obtained by the residents of the former Kampung Bayam, such as urban farming and livestock farming, are intended for them.
Seventh, Jakpro will assist in the distribution of various products produced by former Kampung Bayam residents to other regional-owned enterprises (BUMDs).
Adi continued that before the grassroots period ends, his side will discuss the continuation of the HPPO JIS regulations with the Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Agency.
Because, after the grass period ends, the management of HPPO JIS will be handed over by PT Jakpro to the Jakarta PRKP Agency.
According to Adi, based on the North Jakarta Mayor's Decree 2022 about the verification of former Kampung Bayam residents, there are 126 families in total.
Although not all residents have signed, Adi stated that he will continue to engage with the residents and seek common ground to ensure that no party is disadvantaged.
Meanwhile, North Jakarta Mayor, Hendra Hidayat will ensure that the entire process runs smoothly and that no one feels disadvantaged.
Hendra stated that he would assist in the process of moving the school for the children of the former Kampung Bayam residents and provide health services for the residents.
"As mayor, I will ensure that the residents of the former Kampung Bayam as my residents receive their rights as promised," he stated.
As for information, there are a number of former residents of Kampung Bayam who have been accepted to work at JIS as cleaning services.
