Satpol PP Goes to School program during school introduction was held in SMAN 28 Jakarta, Jati Padang, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.
We focus on orderliness regarding the use of public facilities
Satpol PP's Head of Civil Servant Investigation Division, Tamo Sijabat said this activity was held in order to socialize the main duties and functions of Satpol PP in maintaining public order and security.
"Our program is closed here in SMAN 28," he said, Friday (7/18).
He explained that his party also socialized Regional Regulation Number 8/2007 about Public Order.
The regulation outlines 10 regulations enforced by Satpol PP, namely spatial planning, green belts, parks and public spaces, environmental regulations, businesses and business premises, building regulations, social and health regulations, entertainment and business venues, community participation, and so on.
"We focus on orderliness regarding the use of public facilities so that juvenile delinquency problems such as bullying and brawls are avoided," he added.
After completing the training, participants are expected to be able to explain the material they've learned to their families, their community, and their peers. This will enable them to partner with the Satpol PP in disseminating regulations to all levels of society.
"We also invite them to become Satpol PP Ambassadors, especially in the Prabu Jakarta program," he stated.
Arkan Danu Riaju, one of the students, admitted the material presented by the Satpol PP was very useful.
"Now we know their duties in maintaining a safe and conducive environment," she admitted.
