5,000 productive trees were planted simultaneously in South Jakarta as part of hybrid simultaneous planting movement.

Chairperson of South Jakarta TP PKK, Diah Anwar, said the planting took place in 10 sub-districts, 65 urban vilages, and 62 Child-friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRAs), with the center at Komplek Arhanud Aku Hatinya PKK Bougenvile Kartika, Jalan Reo, RT 10/05, Pesanggrahan.
"Today, we planted productive crops such as chilli, rose apple, Jamaican guava, guava, orange, breadfruit, sapodilla, durian, matoa, buni, and eggplant," she said on Friday (7/18).
In addition to planting, her side also carried out a simultaneous harvest in several locations, by collecting 100 kilgrams of bokchoy, 5 kilograms of lettuce, 1.2 tons of red tilapia, 510 kilograms of water spinach, 302 kilograms of corn, 82 kilograms of chili, 10 kilograms of bottle gourd, and 58 kilograms of spinach.
Diah explained that simultaneous harvest was carried out at RPTRA Duren Tiga, Pancoran; Jakarta Land Rooftop, Setiabudi; Taman Hatinya PKK Kamboja RW 10, Kebayoran Baru; Kebun Kayla, Kebayoran Lama; Taman Hatinya PKK RW 07, Pasar Minggu; RPTRA Jangkrik, Jagakarsa; Sansivera RW 06 Urban Farming, Mampang; Taman Hatinya PKK RW 05, Tebet; Urban Farming RW 01, Cilandak.
"Those locations served as a central point of activities in their respective sub-districts. Because, there are around 6-12 locations in one sub-districts," she informed.
She hopes this activity could serve as a good example of how to use land to strengthen food resilience in South Jakarta.
"Thankfully, we have set a good example in utilizing land. During the Urban Farming Competition, Kebun Berseri won second place at the provincial level," she mentioned.
