The post-flood handling in Pejaten Timur Urban Village, Pasar Minggu District and Rawajati Urban Village, Pancoran South Jakarta run optimally.
Now the residents are able to do their activity normally
Pejaten Timur Urban Village Head, Rocky A Tarigan said heavy rain caused the Ciliwung River to overflow and inundated the resident houses by 50 cm.
"4 RTs were impacted by the flood. The impacted residents were taken to nearest school to take refugee. But now the are already back to their homes," he said, Monday (7/7).
He added that 40 joined personnel are deployed to assist the post-flood handling in several locations.
"We are also assisted by South Jakarta Environmental Sub-agency and Fire handling and Rescue Sub-agency. Hopefully we can handle the 20-40 cm-height mud in the next one to three days remaining," he added.
Meanwhile, Rawajati Urban Village Head, Sariman said the overflow of Ciliwung River also inundated seven RTs in RW 01, 07, and 03 by around 80-100 cm.
"The water started to recede from 5 AM. Now is totally recede," he said.
According to him, 50 Orange personnel, 10 Blue personnel, and seven Yellow personnel to assist the post-flood handling. Then one unit of operational vehicle from South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency and Park and City Forest Sub-agency are also involved.
"Thanks to the clear weather in the morning and at noon made the handling run well. Now the residents are able to do their activity normally," he stated.
