Jakarta Council's Legislative Council (Bapemperda) Vice Chairman, Jhonny Simanjuntak and Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung agreed to hold regular meetings every three months to discuss the draft Bylaw.
We share the same perception
The agreement was made after a meeting between Bapemperda and Governor Pramono at Jakarta City Hall yesterday.
"By so, procedural matters that have been stagnant all this time can be resolved more quickly," he expressed, Friday (7/4).
According to him, this audience resulted in an understanding between the executive and legislative, thus the Bapemperda can be more productive in producing bylaws that benefit the residents of Jakarta.
He added, Pramono gave strong political support to accelerate the process of draft bylaw, including through synergy with the Special Committee (Pansus) formed by the City Council.
Basically, we share the same perception of how the Bapemperda can be productive and benefit the community," he stated.
