Belaian Kasih Social Rehabilitation Center for People with Intellectual Disabilities (PSBG) collaborated with Kalideres Sub-district Health Center to conduct early health screenings for HIV, Tuberculosis (TB), and other infectious diseases.
"A clean and healthy environment greatly supports the Healthy Indonesia program,"
This initiative aims to detect potential health issues early and assess the overall health condition of the PSBG's residents as well as their living environment.
The screening not only focuses to detect diseases, but also evaluates whether Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is being properly implemented within the facility. This helps ensure more effective prevention of infectious diseases.

"Hopefully, this collaboration will continue to help establish a healthy living environment within the facility. A clean and healthy environment greatly supports the Healthy Indonesia program," she said, on Tuesday (7/1).
She added that the initiative is also part of PSBG Belaian Kasih's commitment to ensuring every residents has access to proper and quality healthcare services.
"In the future, we hope similar efforts can be carried out regularly as part of ongoing preventive measures," she mentioned.
