PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya holds cheap bazaar in 20 urban village until ends of June to celebrate Jakarta's 498th Anniversary.

Director of Pt Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, Karyawan Gunarso said all commodities sold during the bazaar will be cheaper compared to the markets.

"It is to ensure that Jakarta residents get quality food at more affordable prices," he said, Tuesday (6/10).

The bazaar is held in urban villages of Jakarta. In East Jakarta, it will be held in Jatinegara Kaum Urban Village, Jatinegara, Cakung Barat Albo Flat, Kramat Jati, and Cawang. In West Jakarta are Tomang Urban Village, Grogol, Kapuk, and Kedaung Kaliangke.

In East Jakarta, it is held in Petojo Selatan Urban Village and Petojo Utara. Then in North Jakarta are Pluit, Ancol, Koja, and Lagoa Urban Village. And South Jakarta are Pela Mampang, Karet, Karet Kuningan Urban Villages and Linde Cheap Market.

Commodities sold during the bazaar are 5 kilograms-pack of FS Long Green Red rice is sold from Rp 74,500 to be Rp 73,000, 4 kilograms-pack of FS Long Green Purple rice from Rp 59,600 to be Rp 59,000, and 2.5 kilograms-pack of FS Long Grain Green from Rp 37,250 to be Rp 37,000.

Next are 5 kilograms-pack of FS Sentra Ramos Premium rice from Rp 74,500 is sold Rp 73,000. 1 liter-pack of FS Minyak Goreng cooking oil is sold from Rp 19,500 to be Rp 17,500, 2 liters-pack of FS Minyak Goreng from Rp 38,000 to be Rp 34,500, and Minyakita pouch 1 liter Rp 15,500.

Other commodities are FS Telur Ayam Negeri card box tray is sold from Rp 29,000 to be Rp 26,000 per tray, FS Gula Kristal one kilogram Rp 17,500, FS Tepung Terigu one kilogram from Rp 12,000 to be Rp 10,000, Mie Goreng Gaga (5 pcs) from Rp 12,000 to be Rp 10,000, ABC Squash from Rp 13,000 to be Rp 11,000, Sirup Marjan Cocopandan from Rp 24,000 to be Rp 19,000, 200 grams of dates from Rp 20,000 to be Rp 15,000 and 35 grams of dates is sold from Rp 16,000 to be Rp 10,000.

Various curly red chilies, red cayenne peppers, shallots, and garlic are also available at affordable prices.

Gunarso hopes that this cheap market can make it easier for the people of Jakarta and lighten the burden on the community to meet their food needs.
