The Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency Task Force continues to speed up the normalization of the water channel in RT 11/RW 03, Bendungan Hilir Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

The work that has been conducted since April 21, 2025, is targeted for completion by the end of this June 2025.

Tanah Abang Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari said the channel is normalized to accommodate water in large quantities, especially during the rain.

"It involves 20 personnel to normalize the channel," she expressed, Monday (6/9).

She explained, this channel is 125 meters long with dimensions of 60x60 centimeters in height and width.

"This also aims to prevent flooding when it rains," she explained.

The normalization received appreciation from one of the locals, Ahmad (45) from Jalan Singkarak, RW 03.

"Alhamdulillah (thank God), our complaint has been followed up so that residents no longer worry during heavy rain," he stated.
