Jakarta City Council's Commission A Vice Chairwoman, Alia Noorayu Laksono ensured budget efficiency discussed in the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) meeting will not have an impact on reducing the quality of public services.

Alia said that in the discussion, Commission A focused on improving the Regional Revenue and Local Budget, especially related to the plan for employee spending efficiency.

"RKPD meeting at Commission A was emphasizing the efficiency of employee spending and the local budget improvement so that it is used efficiently and does not reduce the public services quality," Alia said, Friday (5/16).

According to her, Commission A has the responsibility to ensure that the directive on budget efficiency from the central government can be implemented by Jakarta Provincial Government without neglecting the obligation to serve the residents.

Alia appealed Jakarta Provincial Government to remain keep the public services quality amidst budget efficiency.

"Public services quality must be maintained well," she stressed.
