Bank DKI launched the Jakarta Mobility Free Access Card or JakMob, which is integrated with various modes of transportation, including Transjakarta, MikroTrans (Jaklingko), LRT, MRT, and Commuter Line or called KRL.

I hope this can provide the greatest benefits for Jakartans

This card is a form of support for the Jakarta Government's program that provides free public transportation services to 15 groups of Jakarta residents.

Bank DKI President Director, Agus H Widodo said the launch of this card is part of the commitment to support social inclusion and the mobility of Jakarta's residents via financial services integrated with public transportation.

"We believe that equitable and affordable transportation access will open up broader economic and social opportunities. Bank DKI is committed to continuously supporting public services that facilitate people's lives, especially those who are most in need," he explained, Monday (5/12).

He added this free card can be used for non-cash rides on Transjakarta and will be connected to the electronic ticketing system of PT Transportasi Jakarta. Besides supporting mobility, it is also expected to encourage digital financial literacy, considering demographic data and the status of beneficiaries have been systematically integrated.

"This launch also demonstrates the synergy between the banking sector and public transportation in building Jakarta as a global city," he explained.

Bank DKI Secretaryz Arie Rinaldi uttered the JakMob card is a form of support from Bank DKI for the Jakarta Government's working program.

"I hope this can provide the greatest benefits for Jakartans, especially the 15 groups of the community receiving free public transportation services," he added.

As information, those who fall into the 15 categories of the community receiving free public transportation services include Jakarta Civil Servants, retired civil servants, contract workers, students receiving KJP Plus, residents of Rusunawa, and Family Empowerment and Welfare Team or Jumantik (wiggler hunter).

Further, workers earning the minimum wage, those aged 60 and above (elderly), persons with disabilities, veterans, holders of the Prosperous Family Card, residents with an ID card from Seribu Islands, mosque administrators, early childhood education teachers, and army/police.

Besides using the JakMob card for tap-in payments, they can also use the JakLingko app. This means that when they forget their card, they can still take advantage of the free public transport facility using their mobile phone.

This card is valid for six months. Once the validity period expires, they can apply for an extension through the app.
