The connection channel on Jalan Jenderal A Yani, RW 07, Cempaka Putih Timur, Cempaka Putih is being expedited. This has been underway since last week and is targeted to be completed by the end of May 2025.

Cempaka Putih Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Sahudi said the dredging along 264 meters is carried out to follow up on residents' complaints via Jakarta Kini (JAKI) application.

"14 personnel are involved in this work," he expressed, Tuesday (5/6).

According to him, the channel, which has a height and width of 160 centimeters, has sediment accumulation of 20 centimeters. If it is not dredged, it will cause flooding when it rains.

"The work progress has touched around 45 percent or along 120 meters," he stated.
