The South Jakarta Region I Education Sub-agency supports the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) program which began simultaneously at national level today.

South Jakarta Region I Education Sub-agency Head, Sarwoko stated the operational units of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) had been prepared to facilitate the MBG program for students, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers.

"Thus far, SPPG that is ready and adequate is in Mampang Prapatan and Pancoran sub-districts. We've prepared the kitchen location as wide as ​​400 square meters and 500 square meters to supply MBG to more than 10,000 people," he explained, Monday (1/6).

He explained those SPPGs were National Solidarity Movement Foundation on Jalan Kemang Selatan, RT 01/03, Bangka Urban Village, Mampang Prapatan Sub-district with a kitchen as wide as ​​400 square meters.

"Kitchen equipment is complete and adequate. They (SPPGs) will begin on January 9. The allocation can distribute MBG to 3,495 beneficiaries," he added.

Then also Peleton Media Kasih Foundation on Jalan Kalibata, RT 06/07, Rawajati Urban Village, Pancoran Sub-district with a kitchen as wide as ​​500 square meters equipped with adequate equipment.

"This location will supply MBG for 3,500 beneficiaries. Operational plan starts on January 13, 2025," he explained.

He added SPPG in Jakarta would be improved gradually, one of which is Tunas Cendekia Sejahtera Foundation on Jalan Masjid 2, RT 06/RW 01, Kebon Baru Urban Village, Tebet Sub-district.

"Operational plan starts January 20 to supply 3,002 beneficiaries," he explained.

Aside that, his sub-agency also prepared another SPPG at the Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School and the Indonesian Mualaf Foundation.

"The target is to supply MBG to 2,330 beneficiaries," he closed.
