As many as 1,237 job vacancies are provided during a job fair held by North Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency at Pluit Village Mall, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan, Wednesday (10/30) to Thursday (10/31).

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim, appreciated the participating companies and the mall management for providing the location. He hopes this job fair can give the best result for job seekers and companies.

"Creating a socio-economic and cultural climate that supports workforce productivity is the general objective of developing the employment sector in Jakarta. So the manpower can live decently with quality and prosperity," he said, Wednesday (10/30).

The sub-agency with related sides will run post-event evaluation for getting optimal labor absorption.

"Next year job fair implementation should use this year data to get better result," he added.

North Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency Head, Noviar Dinariyanti, explained it is the third job fair held this year. The first job fair was held on May 20-21 at Mangga Dua Square and second job fair was at Pluit Village on August 20-21, 2024.

"230 people got job on first job fair and 220 people got job on second job fair," Noviar explained.
