PT Transjakarta successfully won five awards from the Jakarta City Transportation Council (DTKJ) Awards 2024. The awards were received directly by Transjakarta's President Director, Welfizon Yuza at Grand Sahid Hotel, Tanah Abang, Thursday (9/19).
Transjakarta Public Relations Department and CSR Head, Ayu Wardhani explained the five awards received were as the public's favorite public transportation and four platinum awards for the categories of the Most Disability-Friendly Mode Integration Facility, Operator with the Most Disabled Users, Most Creative Operator in Disability Services, and Operator with the Most Accommodating Institutions in Disability Services.
According to her, this award is the result of the service achievements provided by Transjakarta to all customers, including those with special needs.
"We're certainly very proud to be the mode of transportation chosen by the public, as the most popular. This achievement is the result of our commitment and innovation in serving customers, especially customers with disabilities," she expressed, through a release received by the Beritajakarta editorial team, Friday (9/20).
With the service innovations presented, Transjakarta's customers keep increasing. Currently, Transjakarta has served more than 1.3 million customers per day.
As an embodiment of accessible transportation, her party has operated 26 Transjakarta Cares units for disabled customers which are specially designed with facilities and provide disability-friendly information and can be accessed via the website.
On this occasion, she also expressed his gratitude to the Jakarta Provincial Government and loyal customers who have supported Transjakarta services so far.
"Appreciations that we have received have become motivation in presenting service innovations for loyal customers," she said.
