The Jakarta Experience Board (JXB) is again presenting a creative campaign in Jakarta's public spaces by launching the House of The Dragon 2 series and video mapping at the Fatahillah Museum, Kota Tua to celebrate Jakarta's 497th anniversary.

Video mapping will be played for two days, precisely from June 10 to 11, 2024, at around 6 PM to 9 PM.

This program is one of the leading forms of Public Space Activation of the Jakarta Experience Board as a Jakarta BUMD in its efforts to increase excitement in the city's public spaces.

JXB President Director, Yunn Bali Mohammad Yusuf said JXB prioritizes collaboration and synergy to make Jakarta a friendly city for creative business actors and improve the creative economy industry in Jakarta.

"Public Space Activation is our advantage compared to other event management businesses in Jakarta. We accommodate brands to connect with the Jakarta audience. On the other hand, the activation of public spaces, such as video mapping, provides additional entertainment for the public and tourists visiting Jakarta," she expressed, Wednesday (6/12).

As for the information, Jakarta's 497th anniversary has the theme Jakarta, a global city with millions of charms. The House of Dragon video mapping will start the Jakarta anniversary series. The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Parekraf) will also hold a similar activation, namely the Jakarta Light Festival which will be held from June 22 to 23 at the same location.

Hopefully, the video mapping in public spaces can represent Jakarta's efforts to become a global city that is open to international trends and popular culture.

"We also hope there will also be more public spaces that we can explore and decorate. We are open to collaboration and synergy so that Jakarta can be like other global cities that are lively, creative, and aesthetic," he closed.
