PPSU personnel cleaned ditch on Jalan Tanjung Duren Timur, Tanjung Duren Selatan Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district, West Jakarta.

Tanjung Duren Selatan Urban Village Head, Indri Prawiji, said the cleaning run along 300 meters.

"The cleaning aims to prevent inundation during heavy rain," she said, Tuesday (4/23).

According to her, there were five PPSU personnel deployed to clean the ditch. They cleaned trash and mud inside the ditch.

Bambang Tarmidzi (34), a roadside stall owner on Jalan Tanjung Duren Timur, appreciated urban village side for cleaning the ditch.

"Hopefully there will be no more inundation here," he hoped.
