Jakarta School Library Competition Assessor Team visited SMAN 1 in Central Jakarta, Monday (4/22). The visit was part of field assessment.

Central Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-agency Head, Irwan Septinadi, said the visit was conducted after SMAN 1 became city-level school library and will represent Central Jakarta to province level.

"An assessment was held by looking directly at the library and the school presented the implementation and program ," he said.

He added that the team consists National Library, Indonesia Publisher Association (IKAPI), YARSI University, and Jakarta Library and Archive Agency.

There are nine assessment components such as library collection, facility, service, human resource, and library management.

According to him, SMAN 1 is already maximal in managing its library with name Bung Hatta Library.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Education Sub-agency's Area 1 Head, Rahayu Asih Subekti, stated SMAN 1 is one of the idol schools that has a variety of programs for students apart from the official curriculum.

SMAN 1's Bung Hatta Library is one of supporting facilities for students.

"Students are able to get wider knowledge through library here. It is hoped SMAN 1 will be the champion," he stated.
