As many as 2,400 joint personnel of Army and Police have been prepared to secure homecoming in East Jakarta.
The safeguarding is applied from D-7 to D+7 Eid ul Fitr
East Jakarta Metro Resort Police Chief, Nicolas Ary Lilipaly, said it will involve personnel from Sector Police, Resort Police up to Metro Jaya Police's BKO and Army.
"It is hoped will give safe and comfort for people who go to their hometown," he said, Tuesday (4/2).
He added that the safeguarding applies opened and closed system by disbursing personnel wearing uniform and thugs. His side will also provide 11 integrated posts consist of three service posts and eight security posts.
The service posts are prepared at Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Terminal and Jatinegara Station. The security posts are prepared on homecoming lane.
The security posts are prepared especially at border areas such as on Jalan Raya Bogor, Jalan Laksamana Malahayati, Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jalan Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono IX, and so on.
"The safeguarding is applied from D-7 to D+7 Eid ul Fitr," he stated.
