North Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue extinguished fire burned a semi permanent shop on Jalan Kampung Sawah Pos III, RT 03/11, Semper Timur Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district. The fire was allegedly caused by electricity short.

Cilincing Sub-district Sector IV Head, Buang Miharja, said the fire happened on Thursday (2/20) at 11.25 PM.

"The residents tried to extinguish the fire, but it got bigger. Then they contacted us," he said, Wednesday (2/21).

As many as 65 personnel with 13 fire trucks were deployed to the scene.

"The shop was at narrow alley and on densely populated area," he added.

According to him, the fire was finally extinguished at 12.44 AM. Then it was continued with cooling process up to 3.16 AM.

"There is no victim caused by this incident," he closed.
