The water channel repairs located on Jalan Haji Shibi, RT 07/02, Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa are targeted for completion this week.

Jagakarsa Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Sartono said the channel was repaired, as its condition was bad or collapsed already.

"If it is ignored, it will cause landslides someday," he expressed, Friday (11/17 ).

He explained the repair was conducted up to 20 meters long, wide, and one meter high. It involved six personnel assisted by three PPSU personnel.

It has been ongoing since mid-October 2023 and is targeted to be completed this week. Thus far, they are still trying to replace the old sheet pile material to make it stronger.

"Hopefully, it can function optimally after the repair," he hoped.
