Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency dredges dirty channel on Jalan KH Mas Mansyur, Kebon Melati, Tanah Abang.

Tanah Abang Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari said the dredging was conducted up to 90 meters with a width and height of 40 centimeters.

"Mud in the channel has reached 20 centimeters thick," she expressed, Monday (9/25).

According to her, it has been ongoing since September 22, 2023, and is targeted to be completed in early October.

"This work involves six personnel," she added.

She hoped that it could make the channel accommodate water in large quantities. " Especially during the rainy season," she stated.
