Joint personnel from West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency together with PPSU were deployed to clean storm drains on Jalan Tanjung Duren Barat and Jalan Mangga, Duri Kepa Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk Sub-district.

Duri Kepa Urban Village Head, Arie Lystha expressed the cleanup action involved nine personnel.

"Each storm drain is cleaned up to 200 meters long. We clean up them from garbage," he expressed, Saturday (8/26).

Most of the garbage cleaned was plastic, leaves, and soil. At the same location, personnel also repaired the broken and tilted kanstine blocks.

The action above received apprectiation from Kurniawan (57), a resident of Jalan Mangga, Green Ville Housing Complex, Duri Kelapa Urban Village.

"Hopefully, the water will flow more smoothly during heavy rains," he hoped.
