The South Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency continues to repair the channel on Jalan Damai Raya, RT 05/02, Petukangan Selatan, Pesanggrahan.
It is targeted to be completed to be completed next week
Pesanggrahan Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Siti Ma'rifah said the repair which takes 98 meters long of channel with 60 centimeters wide and 80 centimeters high is carried out to follow up on residents' aspiration through e-Musrenbang.
"They complained that the channel often overflowed into the street in the rainy season," she expressed, Wednesday (8/9).
She explained the repair itself had been conducted using U-ditch measuring 60 centimeters since August 7, 2023. It involved five workers using manual tools and an excavator.
"It is targeted to be completed to be completed next week," she said
She hoped that it could minimize inundation in the rainy season.
"Just pray that it will be finished soon and the residents will receive benefits from the repair of this channel," she hoped.
