The Grogol Bus Terminal on Jalan Kyai Tapa, Grogol Urban Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district, West Jakarta continues to improve to welcome the mudik exodus and returning flow in 2023. One of them is by setting up a health post, security post, and two tents for waiting places for prospective passengers.

Grogol Bus Terminal Head, Bona Siregar said the Gorgol Bus Terminal would be operated as a backup bus terminal in order to carry out Idul Fitri passenger transportation.

"Today, we are starting to prepare all supporting facilities and infrastructure to smoothen the 2023 mudik and returning flow," he expressed, Thursday (4/13).

According to him, the placement of health posts is in the terminal office. For security post is located on the left side of the terminal entrance and two tents for passengers are provided near the terminal office. His party has also coordinated with the police, national army (TNI), and Satpol PP where starting D-7 they will carry out guard for 24 hours in turn.

"We'll also hold a ramp check on AKAP buses at Grogol Terminal to ensure the Idul Fitri transport fleet is roadworthy," he said.

He added favorite destinations for passengers departing from Grogol Terminal include Purwodadi, Purworejo, Cilacap, Pemalang, Brebes, Wonogiri, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya.

"Last year, we dispatched 687 AKAP buses with more than 1,890 passengers. We will also distribute masks to each bus company (PO) for further distribution to passengers," he stated.
