To parse traffic congestion and create a cozy atmosphere, Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department is optimistic to control illegal parking and public transport that picks up and drops off passengers haphazardly in Tanah Abang Market and ITC Roxy Mas areas.  

"Our target is Tanah Abang and Roxy, because it is very prone to illegal parking and traffic congestion," said Head of Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-Department, Muslim, Tuesday (1/6).

According to him, both sites are the economic center thus many public transports stop haphazardly. "To smoothen the controlling, we will involve local urban village and sub-district apparatus, because they are very familiar with the area," he expressed

As known, although the controlling has been done repeatedly, the Tanah Abang Market and ITC Roxy Mas is always haunted with congestion. Surely, it has disturbed the road users convenience.
