The Jakarta Satpol PP warns business owners in the capital to always implement health protocols, which aim to curb the spread of the Omicron coronavirus variant.

Within a week, it was recorded that 120 places of business were sanctioned

According to Arifin, Head of Jakarta Satpol PP, so far there are still many who violate health protocols.

"Within a week, it was recorded that 120 places of business were sanctioned in the form of dissolution, written warnings, as well as operational closures, and administrative sanctions," he stated, Wednesday (2/16).

He explained most entrepreneurs violated three rules, such as not installing the PeduliLindungi application, the number of visitors exceeding 50 percent of capacity, and exceeding the set operating hours.

"So, we don't hesitate to take action," he asserted.

He has also coordinated with Jakarta Education Agency (Disdik) to intensify health protocols monitoring in schools.

"We educate traders, parents, and students so they don't congregate outside the school area," he stated.
