The Jakarta Satpol PP has noted that as many as 8,447 people have been netted in the mask-wearing operation from February 7 to 3, 2022.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Arifin said his party had collected roughly Rp 6.1 million in fines from 70 violators.
"While for 8,377 others are subject to social work sanctions in the operation," he stated, Tuesday (2/15).
He detailed most violators were detected in Central Jakarta (2,303 people), East Jakarta (1,781 people), West Jakarta (1,722 people), South Jakarta (1,613 people), and North Jakarta (841 people).
According to him, the operation would keep being intensified as Jakarta faces a new spike in Covid-19 cases.
"Let's have the same intention to save ourselves, our families and relatives, and society," he stated.
